Information about our funding
Our grants are designated for non-profit organizations 501(c)(3)s, local schools, and libraries in Brookings, Oregon.
They are specifically for the educational needs of youth 21 years of age and under.
How to Apply
✔ Applications are due September through May (annually).
✔ Grant approval or denial may take several months to complete.
✔ Grant approval is reserved for non-profits in Brookings, Oregon including the Brookings-Harbor School District.
✔ Please include a copy of the 501(c)(3) unless the application is from the Brookings-Harbor School District or Brookings-Harbor Christian School.
Responsibilities for Grant Recipients
✔ Send a brief report of the project (1-2 paragraphs) with a copy of receipts to www.brookingsharbor-edu.org
✔ Receipts are required for tax purposes within 60 days
✔ Post a simple thank you with a picture on the
Brookings Harbor Education Foundation, Inc Facebook Page
✔ Send a letter of thanks to the editor of the Curry Coastal Pilot, allowing our community to know where their donations are being utilized.
✔ It is customary to send a letter of thanks to the grantor when receiving a grant or donation. (prior to cashing the check)
✔ If receipts are not sent within the 60-day timeline, further grant funding will not be considered, and the current grant may be revoked.
